Founder and CEO

Gary Strahan has over 30 years of experience in Infrared Technology and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). Currently, he is the CEO of GS ICI Holdings. GI ICI Holdings is located in located in Beaumont, Texas, with offices in Minnesota, Florida, and Austin, Texas. Gary is former CEO of MultiSensorAI (now publicly traded) and Infrared Cameras Inc. (formerly Texas Infrared, still DBA) located in Beaumont, Texas. He is on the SPIE (Society of Optical Engineers) Thermosense Committee and and was previously involved in ASTM E 20 Committee – Non-Contact Temperature Measurement Devices. Gary is a certified air mixed gas commercial diver, NAUI/PADI Open Water Diver, and private pilot. He is extremely knowledgeable in NDT methods and technologies, having experience with all aspects of infrared thermography, from the designing and manufacturing of infrared cameras to their many applications.

Texas Infrared (now Infrared Cameras Inc.) was founded as a Manufacturer's Representative for AGEMA Infrared in 1995. Prior to starting his business, Gary was employed by Mobil Oil Corporation and wrote their Non-Destructive Testing Procedures. He was also a District Manager for FLIR Systems.

Gary is a Level III Thermographer and has been an Infrared Thermography instructor since the early 90's. He has taught or been involved in the following NDT methods:

He is also an Authorized Inspector (AI) for the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI).

Gary has sold and used PDMA Motor Current Analysis, Baker High Voltage Motor Test Equipment, CSI Vibration, DMSI Vibration, and other predictive maintenance equipment.

On August 4, 2014, Gary was interviewed live on CNN to discuss ICI's thermal imaging systems and their use in airports to detect passengers who display fevered readings to potentially deter the spread of infectious diseases. Gary did a live interview with Jeff Rossen from the Rossen reports (previously Today show host) .

During Covid 19 Gary was interviewed by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Beaumont Enterprise, and has been quoted in the LA Times as well as many other news media outlets. ICI infrared cameras have been used on Monster Quest, National Geographic, House MD, The Maury Show, and others. Amazon ran a commercial “Meet Christine” where ICI cameras were shown as well as shown briefly on a Ford Motor Company commercial. ICI working with NEC installed cameras in all five of Hawaii’s International Airports. ICI cameras were also shown on a 60 minutes Interview with Leslie Stahl with Amazon’s Dave Clark.
